STEUER14 — User Manual (English)
STEUER14 is a desktop diagnostics application for Porsche cars, for macOS and Windows. It reads and clears fault memory, guides fault finding, shows live measured values, codes and programs control units, runs actuator tests and guided maintenance procedures, edits the vehicle order, reads the high-voltage battery and produces customer diagnostic reports. It talks to the car over an ENET (Ethernet-to-OBD / DoIP) cable and to the STEUER14 servers for definitions, catalogs, your plan and your history.
This manual walks through every user-facing feature step by step. All screenshots are taken from the running application.

Conventions
- Control unit (also module or ECU) — one electronic control unit on the car, e.g. the Battery Energy Control Module (BMS) or the Gateway.
- DTC — Diagnostic Trouble Code, i.e. one entry in a control unit's fault memory.
- Status pictograms used throughout the tester tables: ✓ present / OK, ✕ deviation, ! warning, ? unknown, – not applicable, ○ busy / pending.
- Plans — STEUER14 prices the car, never a single control unit. Fault memory and the high-voltage battery module are free; a car licence or the workshop plan unlocks the rest; a programming pass covers software updates on one car. See chapter 2.
