These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CT14 GARAGE CO., LTD, 2004 Thepharak Soi 4, 10270, Bangkok, Thailand ("CT14 Garage", "we", "us" or "our"), for the use of STEUER14.
Key points. All sales are final and non-refundable (section 7). Coding and programming change a vehicle's software and are done at your own risk (section 8). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage to vehicles, equipment or data, or for any other loss arising from the use of STEUER14 (section 10). Copying, sharing, reselling or otherwise distributing STEUER14, its content or your account is prohibited and ends your access without refund (section 4). Please read the full Terms below.
STEUER14 consists of the STEUER14 desktop application for macOS and Windows (the "Software"), the steuer14.com website, the customer web panel, the service status page and the server services that deliver vehicle data, entitlements, updates and history (together, the "Services"). "Content" means all data delivered through the Services, including control-unit catalogs, measured-value and coding definitions, coding recipes, fault-code texts, guided fault-finding data, programming data (flashware), security-access and unlock data, translations and documentation.
By creating an account, installing or using the Software, or making a purchase, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services for a business, you accept these Terms on behalf of that business and confirm that you are authorised to do so. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Services.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your password and any two-factor sign-in codes confidential and for everything that is done through your account. An account belongs either to one person or to one registered workshop. A personal account may be used only by that person. A workshop account may be used only by its Authorised Users: the employees and contractors of the registered workshop who work on vehicles for that workshop, using the computer registered to the account. Authorised Users must not share the account's password, two-factor codes or registered devices with anyone outside the registered workshop, and the account may not be shared with, lent to or used by any other person, workshop or business. The workshop is responsible for everything its Authorised Users do through the account. Each computer and browser that signs in is registered to your account. The workshop plan works on one computer at a time and allows a limited number of device changes per year.

Subject to these Terms and to the purchases on your account, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence, for use by you or, for a workshop account, by its Authorised Users (section 2), to install the Software on your registered devices and to use the Services and Content solely to diagnose, code and program vehicles that you own or that their owner has asked you to work on.
The Software, the Content and the Services are licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by CT14 Garage and its licensors.
The Software and the Content are protected by copyright and other laws and are made available to you only under the licence in section 3. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, you must not, and must not allow or help anyone else to:
Content may be individually protected or marked for your account and device so that its origin can be traced. If we reasonably believe that you have breached this section, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account and all licences, plans, passes and entitlements on it without refund, block the devices concerned, and claim compensation for all damage and losses caused, including lost revenue. Such conduct may also give rise to civil or criminal liability under applicable copyright, computer-crime or other laws where the applicable legal elements are satisfied, and we may take the action available to us under those laws.
Some functions are free, as described on steuer14.com, including reading and clearing fault memory on every supported control unit. Other functions require a purchase:
Prices, the functions included and the supported vehicles are shown on steuer14.com and before you pay. Prices are in euros; card payments carry a card fee, and the total is shown before you pay. We may change prices and plans for future purchases and renewals; a change of a subscription price takes effect from the next renewal after we have told you about it.
Payments are processed by our payment service provider. By making a purchase you authorise us to charge the selected payment method for the amount shown, and for a subscription, to charge it at each renewal until you cancel.
You can cancel a subscription at any time in the web panel (Billing → Manage subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; the plan remains active until then. If a renewal payment fails, the plan ends at the end of the paid period.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties or bank charges that apply to your purchase, other than those we are required to collect.
All purchases are final and non-refundable. This applies to car licences, workshop plans (monthly and yearly), programming passes and every other purchase, whether or not it has been used, and includes unused cars, unused time, the remainder of a subscription period after cancellation, and purchases you no longer need. We do not give refunds, credits or exchanges, including for dissatisfaction, incompatibility with a particular vehicle or software version, the condition of a vehicle, a failed or interrupted coding or programming job, or the suspension or termination of your account for breach of these Terms.
The free functions let you check that STEUER14 connects to and reads your vehicle before you pay. Please use them before making a purchase.
The only exceptions are: (a) where you were charged in error, for example twice for the same purchase, in which case we correct the error; and (b) where a refund is required by mandatory law that applies to you and cannot be excluded by agreement. Where applicable law gives consumers a right of withdrawal from contracts for digital content or services, you expressly request that we begin supplying the content or service immediately upon purchase and acknowledge that you thereby lose that right to the extent the law permits.
If you dispute or reverse a valid charge with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback), we may suspend your account and all entitlements on it until the matter is resolved and may recover the amount and our costs.
Coding, programming, unlocking and actuator tests write to a vehicle's control units or operate its components. A write that is interrupted, incorrect or unsuitable for the vehicle can leave a control unit — or the vehicle — inoperable until it is repaired.
You are solely responsible for:
Conditions outside STEUER14. CT14 Garage does not control, and is not responsible for, the conditions in which the Software is used, including: the pre-existing condition of the vehicle, its control units and its components; the stability of the vehicle's supply voltage and the battery charger used; the condition of the vehicle's networks and wiring; third-party interface hardware, cables, computers and their operating systems; software installed or modified on the vehicle by anyone other than STEUER14; software levels that are incompatible with each other or with the target selected; interruptions of the internet connection, the local network or the power supply; and the functions, values, software versions and other selections you make. A failure caused by any of these is not a failure of STEUER14. The Software keeps a log of each coding and programming job, including the steps run, the responses of the control units and the battery voltage measured, and these logs may be used to establish the cause of a failure.
Reading fault memory, measured values, the battery and reports does not change the vehicle.
The Services and the Content are provided "as is" and "as available". STEUER14 is currently in beta (version 0.9.x) and may contain errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the Content is complete or correct for every vehicle, market or software version, or that any function will work on a particular vehicle.
STEUER14 is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any vehicle manufacturer. Vehicle and brand names are used only to identify the vehicles the Software works with and remain the property of their owners.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CT14 Garage, its directors, employees, agents and suppliers are not liable for any damage or loss arising out of or in connection with the Services, the Content or these Terms, however caused and whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, including:
even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage or loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Services, the Content or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You will indemnify and hold harmless CT14 Garage, its directors, employees and agents against any claims, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, work you carry out on any vehicle, claims by vehicle owners or other third parties, or your breach of these Terms, including section 4, except to the extent the claim, damage, loss, cost or expense results from CT14 Garage's fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to the extent such indemnification is prohibited by applicable law.
The Software, the Content, the Services, the STEUER14 name and logo and all related intellectual property rights belong to CT14 Garage or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, including functions, supported vehicles and control units, at any time, for example to maintain security, comply with law or improve the Services. What a car licence covers over time is set out in section 5, and ending the Services as a whole is subject to reasonable notice under section 14. We may take the Services offline for maintenance; the current status is shown at status.steuer14.com. An internet connection is required to sign in, to start work on a vehicle and to make purchases.
You may stop using the Services at any time. To close your account, write to [email protected] from the email address registered to it, as described in our Privacy Policy. Closing your account ends all licences, plans, passes and entitlements on it without refund.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with immediate effect and without refund, if you breach these Terms (in particular sections 2, 4 or 7), if required by law, or to protect the Services, other users or third parties. We may also end the Services as a whole on reasonable notice.
When your account ends, your licence under section 3 ends and you must stop using and delete the Software. Sections 4, 7 and 9 to 18 continue to apply after termination.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data, including the crash reports the Software sends automatically. It forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the current version on steuer14.com and, for material changes, tell you in the Software, in the web panel or by email. The Software may ask you to accept the updated Terms before you continue to use it. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Services.
Updated Terms apply from the date they take effect and do not apply retroactively. A change will not impose a new payment obligation for a purchase you have already paid for, and will not materially reduce or remove a purchased entitlement — such as a car licence, or a workshop plan or programming pass for the period already paid — except where reasonably necessary for security, the technical integrity of the Services, the prevention of abuse or compliance with law. A change to the terms of a subscription applies from its next renewal.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The courts of Thailand have exclusive jurisdiction.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the purchase details shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms; we may assign ours to an affiliate or successor. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
