Porsche, the Porsche crest, Taycan, 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Macan and PIWIS are trademarks of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. Other product and company names mentioned on this site or in the software may be trademarks of their respective owners.

STEUER14, CT14 Garage and CT14 GARAGE CO., LTD are not affiliated with, authorised, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, its importers, dealers or subsidiaries, or any other vehicle manufacturer.

  • We use vehicle and system names only in a descriptive, referential way: to state which vehicles, model years and control units STEUER14 works with. Such a reference is not a statement of partnership or origin.
  • STEUER14 is sold under its own name and brand. We do not use any manufacturer's logos, crest, typefaces or trade dress as part of our branding.
  • Where this site compares STEUER14 with a manufacturer's workshop system, the comparison describes our own use and experience; it is not a statement by, or on behalf of, that manufacturer.

An independent product for maintenance and repair

STEUER14 is an independent diagnostic tool. It is made so that independent workshops and owners can diagnose, maintain and repair the vehicles they own or service, and it interoperates with those vehicles through their standard diagnostic interface.

It is not a manufacturer tester and does not replace the manufacturer's workshop system for warranty, recall or safety-relevant work. Work carried out with STEUER14 may affect the manufacturer's warranty; see the Terms & Conditions.

Right to repair

Vehicle owners should be free to have their vehicles maintained and repaired where they choose, and independent workshops need access to the diagnostic information to do that work. STEUER14 is built to support this principle, which is reflected in rules such as:

  • in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2018/858, which requires vehicle manufacturers to give independent operators — including independent repairers and manufacturers of diagnostic tools and equipment — unrestricted, standardised and non-discriminatory access to vehicle on-board diagnostic (OBD) information and to vehicle repair and maintenance information;
  • in the United States, the Automotive Right to Repair Memorandum of Understanding of 2014 and state laws such as the Massachusetts Data Access Law, which give owners and independent repair facilities access to the diagnostic and repair information available to franchised dealers.

We refer to these rules to explain what STEUER14 is for. This is not a statement that a particular rule applies to you, to CT14 Garage or to a particular vehicle, and it does not change the Terms & Conditions. You remain responsible for complying with the laws that apply to the work you carry out, in your country and on each vehicle.

If you believe that anything on steuer14.com or in STEUER14 infringes your intellectual property or other rights, please write to [email protected] with the subject “Rights notice”. Identify the material concerned and the right you rely on, and give your contact details.

We review every notice promptly and in good faith and, where a notice is justified, remove or change the material concerned. Nothing on this page is an admission of any claim.

CT14 GARAGE CO., LTD is responsible for the content of steuer14.com. Diagnostic data shown in the software is compiled by CT14 Garage for interoperability with the supported vehicles and checked on real vehicles in our workshop; we cannot guarantee that it is complete or error-free for every vehicle and software version.
