Warranties

New-car, long-term, paint and high-voltage battery warranties with their start, end and mileage limit, active or expired.

Vehicle details

Model, model year, order type, exterior colour with paint code, and Porsche's picture of the car.

Why check the PCSS history before you buy

  • Open recall campaigns the seller may not know about: the dealer does them free of charge.
  • Odometer readings at every dealer visit: a quick plausibility check of the mileage.
  • Which warranties are still running, including the high-voltage battery warranty on a Taycan.
  • Where and when the car was serviced at Porsche Centres, compared with the service book.

The report shows what Porsche Centres recorded. Work done by independent garages does not appear, so ask the seller for those invoices too.

FAQ

PCSS service history: questions, answered

Do I need an account?

No. Enter the VIN and your email, pay by card and the report opens on this page. The link is also sent to your email.

Where does the data come from?

From PCSS, Porsche's central service system, as it stands at the time of your lookup: the service visits Porsche Centres recorded, the campaigns for the car and its warranties.

Which cars can I look up?

Any Porsche VIN (starting WP0 or WP1) that Porsche has on file: 911, 718, Taycan, Panamera, Cayenne, Macan and older models.

What if the car has no service history?

Only visits to official Porsche Centres are recorded. A car serviced elsewhere, or very new, can show few or no visits; campaigns and warranties are still listed.

How long does it take?

Usually under a minute after payment. If Porsche's system is slow, the page keeps waiting and the link in your email shows the report as soon as it is ready.

Can I get it free?

Car licence holders get one free lookup per car on their licence every month, and the Workshop plan includes 50 lookups a month, in the STEUER14 customer panel.
